Therapeutic and Wellbeing activities
Drop-in sessions and activity support groups run by our Therapeutic and Wellbeing team for our patients and their carers

Drop-in sessions
We offer peer support sessions for carers and patients, where you can speak to people in a similar situation, share ideas and access support from our knowledgeable team. We can also refer you for further support if needed.
- Walking group (open to patients, carers and bereaved family members) – every Thursday, 10.30am–12noon
- Recently bereaved drop-in sessions (open to anyone in the local community who has experienced a bereavement in the last
six months) – first and third Wednesday of each month, 10.30am–12noon
You are free to drop in to these groups whenever it suits you, with no need to book. All sessions are held in the Wellbeing Centre at the Hospice.
Activity support groups
- Carers’ afternoon tea – first Tuesday of each month, 2–4pm
- Creative space (for patients and carers) – last Friday of each month, 11.30am–1pm
