Fundraising ideas

Looking for inspiration? Whatever your passion or hobby, we’ve got plenty of ideas to help you fundraise for your local hospice.

Fundraising inspiration

Fundraise your way

Get inspired and begin your fundraising journey today. Below are just some of the amazing ways our supporters have inspired us with their fundraising. If you have an idea you want to discuss or need support or advice our community fundraising team are here to help:

Music and entertainment

Member of a band? Why not rock out for Willen! Organise a gig night or music festival at your local pub. Our dedicated music shop, Off the Record welcomes live music too! Or plan a fun night of comedy, bingo, a Eurovision party or karaoke!

Host a
quiz night

We love a good quiz! Embrace your inner quizmaster and donate the team entry fees. Why not host a raffle and games to add to the fun. We can even supply you with t-shirts, collection posts and banners!

Fundraise at your celebration

Make a difference at your special occasion. Getting married, a big birthday coming up? Why not ask for donations in lieu of gifts or hand out Willen hospice lottery tickets as wedding favours. We’re here to help you make it an extra special day.

Fayres, fetes and fun days

Keep the kids (and adults!) entertained and come together at your local pub, community centre or playing fields in support of your local hospice. Don’t forget to invite us along!

Sporting events

Part of a local team or sporting group? Why not hold a testimonial match, darts tournament, pool competition, golf day, fun run or rugby game? We can even list your event on our website to spread the word for you.

Creative fundraising

Use your creative talents to make a difference. Whether you’re handy with knitting needles or a paintbrush, green fingered or a whizz in the kitchen, you could sell your creations to family and friends and help us raise funds. Remember to tag us in your social posts!
