We are incredibly grateful for your kind donations. Find out more about what we’re able to accept.

Turn your pre-loved items into life changing care

A sustainable solution to unwanted items

Your donations not only help us fund our compassionate care but they also provide a sustainable alternative to discarding unwanted items, reducing waste and providing environmental benefits.

Please see our list below of what items we can sell in our shops or recycle. Thank you for your support.

What we can accept:

• Clothing & Shoes
• Jewellery and accessories e.g. bags & belts
• CE Marked Boxed Toys, Soft Toys, Games & Puzzles
• Books & Unused Stationery • Furniture & upholstered items with fire labels
• Homewares / Glassware / Crockery / Cutlery Kitchenware and metals
• CD’s / DVD’s/Vinyl
• Computer Games
• Musical instruments/Memorabilia
• Electrical items (White goods must be in new/nearly new condition)
• DIY Tools & Sports / Gym Equipment
• Eyewear
• Craft Material

We also accept damaged/poor condition: - clothing - shoes - linens & bedding - cushions - books These are then recycled and generate additional income for the hospice. Please bag these items up separately and label where possible as these items get sent to a separate organisation that recycles these.

We are currently unable to accept:

• Used baby/children's equipment e.g. cots/prams
• Batteries
• Coffee Pods
• Medicines
• Safety Equipment eg helmets, car seat

Please help us a little bit more if you can by:

• Placing all items where possible in sealed bags
• Not leaving any items outside if a shop is closed as they often get damaged due to the weather and can cause a health and safety risk.
• Sorting donations into categories prior to dropping them off. This saves us so much time and means items can quickly be priced and get onto the shop floor to sell.
• Dropping off broken and damaged items to your local tip or to a repair cafe. Our waste bill for a year was an astonishing £64k to dispose of things that are damaged or unsaleable.
