Our Memory Tree offers a place of special dedication within the Hospice, with each carefully crafted metal leaf on our Memory Tree representing a life remembered.
By dedicating a leaf in memory of your loved one, you create a meaningful tribute within our Hospice, whilst also helping to ensure that our expert, compassionate care, bereavement support and wellbeing services remain available to local families.
Our Memory Tree has been generously and carefully crafted and gifted by a metalworker, Beakbane, reflecting the strength, resilience and individuality of every life it honours.
Dedicating your leaf
We warmly welcome you to dedicate a leaf in memory of your loved one, engraved with their name and, if you wish, meaningful dates to honour their life.
Your dedication will be placed with care on our Memory Tree inside the Hospice, where it will remain for the duration of your chosen dedication. A gentle, lasting tribute to your loved one and a meaningful dedication in our shared space of remembrance.
You can choose either a gold, silver or bronze leaf. There is no price difference, but each colour is limited in availability.
How to get started
Dedication and Payment Options
Below are the available options to start your leaf dedication journey with us, in memory of your loved one.
Each dedication includes an additional £50 one-off and non-refundable fee.
Make a Fixed Term Dedication
1 Year Dedication – £250 one‑off payment
5 Year Dedication – £1,000 one‑off payment
10 Year Dedication – £1,750 one‑off payment
Your dedicated leaf will remain on our Memory Tree for the duration of your chosen fixed term dedication.
If you would prefer for your Memory Tree dedication to be created through funds raised in honour of your loved one, you are very welcome to fundraise before making your dedication. This can be through funeral collections, or by raising the money yourself through fundraising or sponsorship. Our Community Fundraising team is here to support you with ideas, guidance and any questions you may have along the way.
If you are fundraising using an online giving page, please make sure it is made clear that you are fundraising for a memory tree dedication in support of Willen Hospice.
Once your fundraising is complete, you will still need to fill in the online Memory Tree dedication form.
