Fundraising volunteers provide encouragement and recognition to our wonderful supporters while helping to raise vital funds for the Hospice. You’ll be meeting people who have incredible stories to tell, often about how our care has impacted the lives of their friends or families.

Events volunteers
Whether you join our crew at the Midnight Moo or help raise cash at our Santa Dash we always need a spare pair of hands to marshal our routes, run a stall, take registrations or set up and take down on the day. Our fundraising team are kindly invited to hundreds of community run events each year but without the support of our volunteers representing Willen, we simply couldn’t attend. We always welcome more bucket collectors or an extra pair of hands to help to run a games or refreshment stall.
Bucket collectors
We are so privileged to have great relationships with local supermarkets who permit us to have stands outside their stores to collect money. A friendly smile and a willingness to talk about the Hospice encourages donations and it all adds up to make a such a difference. It’s a really rewarding way to represent the Hospice in the heart of our community.
Office volunteers
If you’d prefer to help out in our offices at Willen we often have volunteering roles to support our fundraising teams. This includes helping to organise, distribute and collect fundraising resources as well as general administrative tasks and being a contact point for other volunteers.
