How we’re funded
Even though only 12.7% of our running costs are met by ongoing NHS funding, we provide all of our palliative care services free of charge.
Your generosity funds our care
We couldn’t provide our expert care without the support of our wonderful community. Through all kinds of fundraising activity, from bucket collections to sponsored challenges abroad, you raise millions of pounds to fill the gap left by underfunding.
In 2024/25 the cost of providing our expert care and support for local people was £11 million. That’s around £30,000 every single day to ensure we’re always there for those who need us.
