Midnight Moo: What to expect on the night

Get ready for an unforgettable Midnight Moo!

Walking 10 miles through Milton Keynes at night is no small feat – but don’t worry, we’ve got plenty lined up to keep you moving and motivated and safe!

Your safety is important to us

Please remember that the Midnight Moo is not a race and running the route is not permitted, if you are interested in your time, your times are available from our event partner Results Base 48 hours after the event.

Solo Moo-ers

We’re able to bring together solo moo-ers as a team- just look out for the Solo moo-ers meeting point at Middleton Hall.

Water

We made it easy for you to stay hydrated. We’ll have free bottled water available at Middleton Hall to collect and more supplies along the route. No need to weigh yourself down with refreshments from home.

First Aid

We have first aid available, if you have an injury, please let your nearest marshal know.

Marshals

Please show some love to our marshals. Each mile has a dedicated mile leader and their Moo crew has been allocated a mile to marshal so you’ll have the very best cheerleaders on every corner. Do reach out to your nearest marshal if you need help at all.

Route

You’ll receive a map in your fundraising pack, please stick to the redways and let us know if you drop out along the route so we know you’re safe. We provide a contact phone number for you to reach Moo HQ and look out for your next marshal.

Numbered bibs

We supply numbered bibs which are chipped so we can track the location of every moo-er. It’s important that you wear you bib which is activated as you cross the starting line /finish line. This means there’s also no need to register when you arrive and just head straight into the partyzone!

Snacks

We’ll have a breakfast to go ready for you at the finish line and sweets along the route to keep you energised.

Toilet stops

You’ll find a couple of toilet/water stops in addition to your halfway party and start/finish. These will be at The Talbot Inn, Loughton at the end of Mile 3 and at MK Museum at Mile 7. You’re never too far away from a Porta-MOO!

Transport

If you are walking our 5-mile route remember you’ll need to organise transportation between the points. We recommend parking your car at the 5-mile finish and organising a lift to the starting line. You can enjoy the 5 mile finishers party before you head home and put your feet up!

Parking

For our 10-mile moo-ers, there’ll be ample free parking from 6pm near to Middleton Hall. Please don’t park in the multi story at John Lewis as this will be locked– you’ll not want to walk home too!

Warm up

We’ll limber up your legs too! Led by Luke from the Good Gym MK, we’ll get you warmed up to the soundtrack of your favourite Moo tunes!

The regular donations we receive from our loyal Lottery players help us to future-proof our Hospice, whilst also giving us a chance to give back to you, our amazing supporters.

When the pandemic hit, we had to cancel or postpone our fundraising events and close our shops for months on end, but alongside our regular givers, our Lottery gave us the financial security we needed.

A huge THANK YOU to all of our Lottery players, past, present and future, for helping us to be there for local families.
